l am considering another Saab based project car for track racing ( not my Turbo X !) and l have sold my Dean Randle (Swedish Prestige- Melbourne ) prepared 9.5 Abbott Aero as l need to free up some garage space .My first preference was to see if any club members may consider my Aero.
The Aero has been my personal car since l purchased it new in 2001, the information is here...
9.5 Aero Victorian registration AEROR5 vin YS3EH48GX13012995, steel grey colour.
First registered March 2001, one owner, currently 154,800 kms was sold with full road worthy certificate
The last of the classic (not plastic ) 9.5 Aeros, has been displayed at many car club concours events and kept at a high standard of maintenance, this car is the absolute long distance cruiser or a grocery getter .
Standard original 9.5 Aero features include :-
Sunroof, premium Harmon Kardon stereo with 6 disc stacker, full climate control, premium leather seats (drivers seat with memory ) - front seats heated and cooled , timber dashboard, leather steering wheel, plus other standard features. My car is fully maintained by Dean Randle of Swedish Prestige, and has been garaged undercover when at work.
Now take all this and add in over $30,000+ of high quality upgrades ( all invoices available ) including full Abbott racing equipment imported from UK, plus more of Dean Randles precision performance developments , and you have a level of performance on "tap" that will set you apart and give you that "Saab" smile.
Upgrades currently include :-
Dean Randle full performance and precision rebuilt B235R motor, overbored with forged pistons. Full (end to end ) Abbott Racing inlet induction with cast end housing high performance intercooler, matching performance ECU. Fully rebuilt auto gearbox (5000kms since fitted still with warranty ) . 18 light alloy rims with low profile r rated Dunlop tyres ( 8000ks since new ) Custom stainless steel exhaust headers matched to full Abbott performance exhaust system and race cat then finished with unique twin exhausts, and to bring all this to a safe stop, upgraded brakes , plus Koni shockers and Abbott lowered springs.
Finally the WOW factor that you will get when you own this car.
The Aero will remain in the SCCA with a NSW member who is now the proud owner
