About the Western Australia Branch

We would like to introduce you to our club. Our club is dedicated to helping Saab car owners to enhance the pleasure of owning a Saab. The national club for Saab owners has branches in Tasmania, NSW, Victoria, Queensland, ACT and WA, and is looking to expand into SA.

Our objectives are to:

  • To promote and foster fellowship among Saab motor car owners
  • To encourage pride and ownership and technical knowledge of Saab motor cars
  • To conduct meetings, social activities and motor sporting events for club members and invitees
  • To enhance the public awareness and image of Saab motorcars through the promotion of activities and the conduct of its members
  • To assist Saab Automobile Australia in its objective of promoting the Saab marque in Australia, and
  • To support and promote the preservation and restoration of older Saabs.

To facilitate this we conduct meetings, social activities and motor sporting events for club members and invitees. So come along and share experiences with our members who own such great cars as a 1955 92B (our oldest), a 1971 Sonett III,
to the most current model 9-3s and 9-5s.

We have great fun at our social and sporting events and welcome you to share in this. Not only will you get to learn more about your car and Saab’s in general, but you will also get the opportunity to mix with others who share your interests.
In addition to an introductory club cap and pen, members receive copies of our official high quality club magazine, SaabMissions.

Membership kit

In addition to the great benefits offered by the SCCA, new members receive a membership kit including: exclusive SCCA cap, club membership card, boxed Saab pen and a Saab lapel pin featuring the company’s trademark Griffin emblem.
